April 15th-16th, 2016 Arts in a Changing America (ArtChangeUS) at the California Institute of the Arts joined Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (YBCA), Youth Speaks, CultureStr/ke, and the Institute for Diversity in the Arts at Stanford University in welcoming artists and change makers to Northern California— where visionary community-minded arts practice has long shaped national agendas. ArtChangeUS REMAP: Bay Area participants convened at YBCA, a leader in generating art that moves and inspires meaningful shifts in civic practice.
